We spent August 2nd-7th in Denver. Bill had his annual Advanced Placement Conference, so the family tagged along for a little vacation.
The kids and I spent a good amount of time exploring different Denver-area parks. Our favorite park was Belleview Park in Englewood. First we hit the playground:


Then it was onto the little mini train that winds around the park.


The park also has a small petting zoo with a variety of barnyard animals.

I think the favorite attraction was the shallow stream, perfect for wading. At first I tried to keep the kids from getting their clothes wet, but Caleb slipped and fell about three seconds after putting his feet in. From then on it was a free-for-all splash fest.
