My Little Picasso

Caleb loves to color and draw. Give him some paper and a box of crayons and he'll be occupied for hours. When we heard about the Reflections contest at his school, I knew he'd want to enter. Unfortunately I forgot about it until the day the entries were due. So I rifled through the pile of his drawings on my desk, picked one out that we liked, and entered it. He won! He was so excited when he found out.

Yesterday was the award presentation. Caleb was thrilled with his prize (a certificate, $5, some candy, and a mechanical pencil). He's already planning for next year's contest!

That is so awesome. My son won in his division "musical comp". Your blog is darling and I am adding it to our friends and family list.(If you don't mind.) Maybe between blogging and FB, we can stay in touch...Isn't modern Technology fantastic? Oh, and is that red hair I see on his little head? Not fair. Neither one of mine got red.....Go figure.
