A Very Measom Christmas

My parents ventured forth from their sunny Arizona winter home last weekend to reign over the Measom family Christmas party, which is always quite a production. This year we rented a space at the Pleasant Grove Rec Center and it was a nice venue for a large group of crazy Measom adults and children (and the usual overload of presents from Grandma).

The kids kept busy decorating cookies:

And coloring Christmas pictures:

Santa made a surprise visit! Funny, he had the same distinctive nose as Grandpa Measom, and even sounds like him. Hmm...

Even though Eli knew right away who was behind the beard, he still got a little freaked out.

Some other highlights:

Lots of good food, as usual.

My cute dad

Anxiously awaiting the green light to tear into the presents.

Enjoy your new toys mom and dad!

Polly wins the award for cheesiest picture of the night.

And second place goes to...

There's never a dull moment when this group gets together.

Megan, you are the cutest! I absolutely love reading your blog. I'm so glad your whole family got together. How did we ever keep up on people's lives before blogging?
