This morning Amanda woke up early and fixed her own breakfast, but then didn’t finish her cereal. Since I’m always getting after her for wasting cereal and milk, she decided to be resourceful and save her cereal for later. Apparently simply putting the bowl right in the fridge didn’t occur to her; instead she opted to pour the cheerios and milk into a baggie (and not a zip-top baggie, a fold-top baggie), and place that on the top shelf of the fridge. I imagine she was feeling pretty proud of herself at that point. And imagine my surprise when I opened the fridge and discovered puddles of milk and mushy cheerios on every shelf and pooling at the bottom. Good morning to me!!
On a more positive note, Amanda learned a valuable lesson, and now my fridge is sparkling clean.

Love it....
Nice! Your so good to clean your fridge that fast. I hate cleaning the fridge, not quite as much as cleaning the carpet though....
Hey let us know when you're coming up again, we'd love to get together!
i had some catching up to do on your blog Megan. Your entry about the crash victims was very touching, thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings.
You described Amanda's doggie bag incident perfectly. I saw it play out in my mind just as it probably happened. You're such a good writer, keep the good stories and touching entries coming.
love,
erin
Ah, the fun times of being a mom. I have to admire her ingenuity, though.
I finally found you - fun blog! I'll get around to making the WB team blog soon. I haven't forgotten about it.
Hey Snapple Girl! How could I forget. You were a cool senior that would talk to me and Lisy.
Got to love living in rural eastern Utah. We are in Roosevelt. I love it!
Your kids are adorable. And what a great cereal story to remember. I am surprised my little one hasn't tried that one yet.
